About Us
Sadie J. & Co. is the result of my hobby turned small business, now built together with my husband, Jeramy. I’ve had multiple creative hobbies over the years, but it all started when my grandmother, Sadie June, taught me how to crochet and knit in elementary school. My creativity has always been encouraged by her, so when I couldn’t decide on a name for my shop, I chose hers—the name of the person who has always inspired me to be creative.
Growing up near the coast in the small, rural town of Nome, Alaska, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the rugged beauty of the Alaskan landscape, especially its coastline. This connection inspires much of my work, as I strive to create items that not only represent the unique spirit of Alaska but also capture the essence of its coastal regions. From the windswept shores to the vibrant marine life, each piece carries a part of my home and my heart.
Jeramy plays a big role in this journey too—he helps bring my designs to life by keeping our equipment running, assembling pieces, and supporting every step of the process. Together, we’ve grown Sadie J. & Co. into more than just a creative outlet; it’s a reflection of our partnership, creativity, and love for making things that bring joy to others.
Thank you for supporting our small, minority woman–owned and veteran–owned business. We hope the items we create bring you as much joy as we had in making them for you.
